The deep claret red is even richer in person, and the wool is soft yet sturdy enough for daily walks. I love that it's handmade in Yorkshire and the martingale design gives me gentle control without pulling.

I've had this collar for a few weeks now, and the wool feels much softer and more substantial than I expected from a half-choke design. The martingale loop gives just enough gentle control on walks without being harsh.

The deep red wool has a lovely, rich texture that feels substantial without being too heavy. I do wish the martingale loop were just a tiny bit larger, but the craftsmanship is clearly high quality and it fits well otherwise.
